XDC News - VERT Capital, a Brazilian credit structuring firm, is set to tokenize up to $1 billion in debt and receivables on the XDC Network. This marks a major expansion of public blockchain adoption in structured finance, with corporate debt, agribusiness receivables, and structured credit products moving on-chain over the next 30 months. The initiative transitions VERT's existing securitization business—which includes clients like Cargill, Santander, and Raízen—toward digital issuance. "Our goal is to transform traditional structured assets into liquid digital assets with global reach," stated Gabriel Braga, VERT's head of digital assets. The XDC Network, an Ethereum-compatible
LAYER 1 blockchain with ISO 20022 messaging support, has become a leading platform for real-world asset tokenization, partnering with industry giants like Circle, Deutsche Telekom MMS, and Securitize. This deal highlights increasing institutional demand for blockchain-based financial infrastructure, aligning with the broader trend of traditional finance embracing tokenization.
